Day 1- Arrival at the fabulous 4 star Chateau Gilley. Check in, relax, and stroll the grounds of
this former Cistercian site and savor its history and serenity. Get ready for the first fabulous
dinner of your Burgundy adventure.
Day 2- Cotes de Nuits and the Ouche Valley- 61 km
You'll start out today by riding along the Ouche river and it's charming canal. Later you'll head
towards the famous wine region Cote de Nuits and discover some of it's well known vineyards:
Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle Musigny, etc. Return to your hotel for another fabulous French
Day 3- Beaune Loop- 53 km
You'll pass by the Clos Vougeot and the Cote de Nuits via Aloxe-Corton and enter into the
prestigious Cote de Beaune region. Take some time to visit Beaune, which is one of the prettiest
towns in France. Beaune is known for art and history, and its hospital is known throughout the
world for its glazed tile roof. Certainly don't miss the wine musuem!
Day 4- Citeaux Abbey and Burgundy Canal- 59 km
You'll be leaving the vineyards behind today and riding out toward the splendid Citeaux Abbey
which was the cradle of the Cistercian order and which is still inhabited today by monks. This
stage will bring you from the Burgundy canal to tiny villages and beautiful private chateaux.
You'll then return to another great dinner before leaving the fabulous Burgundy region in the
